Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain specialized medical equipment at client facilities
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for complex equipment systems
- Train healthcare staff on proper equipment operation and safety protocols
- Document maintenance activities and prepare detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance
- Adhere to FDA regulations and industry compliance standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience with medical equipment maintenance
- Certification in biomedical equipment technology (CBET preferred)
- Strong diagnostic skills with mechanical and electronic systems
- Excellent communication abilities for client training and documentation
- Ability to travel up to 20% within Northern California
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
