Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal employees and clients.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance and respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in our knowledge base system.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to learn system architecture and security protocols.
- Conduct routine system checks to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
- Guide new hires through basic technology setup and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse teams.
- Willingness to relocate to Newark, NJ and obtain necessary work authorization.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new technologies and IT concepts.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
