Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software systems including troubleshooting Windows/macOS environments
- Assist in implementing cybersecurity protocols and monitoring network security alerts
- Support cloud infrastructure management tasks including AWS/Azure resource provisioning
- Document technical procedures and create user documentation for internal knowledge base
- Collaborate with senior engineers on system upgrades and patch management cycles
- Participate in cross-departmental projects to optimize IT workflows
- Maintain compliance with federal security standards (NIST/FISMA) for client systems
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with operating systems: Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot technical issues systematically
- CompTIA A+ or Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customer service mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Must be eligible to obtain federal security clearance (requires US citizenship)
