Your Role:
As an Entry Level SEO Specialist, you will assist our senior team in executing data-driven strategies to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic. You will gain hands-on experience with the latest tools and best practices in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Keyword Research: Conduct thorough research to identify high-value keywords and search trends relevant to our clients' industries.
- Content Optimization: Edit and optimize website content, meta tags, and headlines to improve search engine visibility.
- Technical SEO Support: Assist in monitoring site health, checking for crawl errors, and ensuring proper indexing.
- Link Building: Help identify and secure high-quality backlinks to boost domain authority.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) using Google Analytics and other SEO tools, preparing weekly reports for management.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor strategies and identify opportunities for our clients to outperform them.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Interest Level: Demonstrated passion for digital marketing, SEO, and content strategy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write clear, engaging copy.
- Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with computers and internet navigation; willingness to learn new software tools.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Minneapolis, MN area for remote collaboration.
