Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Assistance: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff via phone, email, and in-person support.
- Hardware & Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain computer workstations, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Asset Management: Assist in tracking IT inventory and ensuring all equipment is accounted for and properly labeled.
- Onboarding Support: Help new employees set up their workstations and provide initial orientation on company IT systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all technical issues, resolutions, and service requests in our ticketing system.
- Network Maintenance: Monitor network performance and assist in resolving connectivity issues to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience is required. We are looking for candidates eager to learn.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of computers, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and internet connectivity.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: A logical approach to diagnosing problems and a proactive attitude toward finding solutions.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed.
