Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Document technical issues and resolutions using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira)
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on complex system implementations
- Assist with cybersecurity best practices and user awareness training
- Manage inventory of IT assets and procurement requests
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and cloud services
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
- Valid NC driver's license for occasional site visits
