Responsibilities
- Provide First-Level Technical Support: Respond to and resolve incoming tickets regarding hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Hardware & Peripherals: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals for new and existing users.
- System Administration: Support the deployment of Windows and macOS environments, including user account management and software licensing.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions and provide clear instructions to staff on how to use office software and IT systems effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Office Support: Perform general IT duties to ensure the smooth operation of the office environment.
Qualifications
- Education: A-levels, BTEC, or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Experience: No prior professional experience is necessary; however, internships or personal projects are highly valued.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10/11, and macOS is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and a logical mindset for resolving technical difficulties.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time and be available for occasional out-of-hours on-call support rotation.
