Core Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on desktops, laptops, printers, and network peripherals.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software for incoming staff.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly labeled and accessible.
- Collaborate with the senior IT team to identify system bottlenecks and implement efficient solutions.
- Conduct basic user training sessions on new software applications and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, Storage) and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
- Strong desire to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and security.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
