Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for 150+ federal employees via phone, email, and remote desktop
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 workstations and peripherals
- Manage Active Directory accounts, group policies, and security protocols
- Document IT incidents using ServiceNow ticketing system with SLA compliance
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network infrastructure projects (Cisco/Juniper)
- Conduct monthly hardware inventory audits and asset management updates
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (1 week per month)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking concepts
- Strong customer service skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira)
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices (NIST framework preferred)
- US citizenship required for federal contract compliance
