What You Will Do
Our IT Support Specialists play a vital role in our daily operations. Your day-to-day activities will include:
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Manage and maintain the Help Desk ticketing system to ensure timely and accurate resolution of all support requests.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting and assist in maintaining a secure IT environment.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate logs of system performance and user interactions.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new software patches and security updates.
- Train junior staff and assist in onboarding new clients to our IT ecosystem.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is a plus).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking concepts.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and obtain industry-recognized certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends during peak periods.
