Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Document all support tickets using IT Service Management tools
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex technical escalations
- Assist with network administration tasks including user account management
- Conduct routine system maintenance and security updates
- Train end-users on new technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing environments
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site visits
