Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Document technical issues and resolutions in ticketing systems
- Assist with network security protocols and data backup procedures
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex technical projects
- Conduct routine system maintenance and performance optimization
- Deliver user training on new software and systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
