Responsibilities
- Manage and track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to resolve shipping discrepancies and logistics issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our ERP system and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and propose cost-saving operational improvements.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients regarding shipment status.
- Assist in the development of logistics strategies to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex shipping data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
