Responsibilities
- Process same-day electronic payments for 500+ daily wage earners across Illinois
- Coordinate with banking partners to maintain real-time payment liquidity
- Develop and optimize daily payroll workflows using proprietary software
- Conduct daily reconciliation of payment transactions and bank accounts
- Train new hires on daily payment system protocols and compliance standards
- Collaborate with HR to integrate daily pay with employee onboarding
- Generate daily payment analytics for executive reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years experience in payroll processing or fintech operations
- Illinois payroll certification required (CPP preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and payroll software (ADP/Kronos)
- Strong understanding of Illinois wage payment regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error transaction history
- Experience managing payment processing teams of 5+ members
