Responsibilities
- Execute daily payroll processing for 500+ hourly employees with 100% accuracy
- Implement and maintain real-time payment systems using proprietary technology
- Collaborate with HR to resolve payroll discrepancies within 24-hour SLA
- Analyze payroll data to optimize payment workflows and reduce processing costs
- Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws and FLSA regulations
- Train staff on new payment platforms and troubleshoot technical issues
- Generate monthly payroll reports for executive leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with daily pay systems
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms
- Strong knowledge of Maryland labor laws and FLSA compliance
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payroll transactions with zero errors
- Experience implementing payment technology solutions (e.g., Stripe, Plaid)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
