Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, and delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse facility to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Inspect products for damage and accurately record inventory data using handheld scanners or computer systems.
- Package, label, and prepare shipments for distribution while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Operate heavy machinery (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist in physical labor tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be able to perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
