Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event venues, including furniture arrangement, decoration setup, and equipment placement.
- Greet guests and attendees with a welcoming demeanor, directing them to event areas and answering general inquiries.
- Monitor event areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to company protocols throughout the duration of the event.
- Collaborate closely with event coordinators to execute schedules, manage logistics, and troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions and cash handling duties with high accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the brand positively.
- Assist with crowd control and ushering duties to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with labor laws.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Virginia Beach location is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs) as needed.
- Previous experience in event staffing, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as event schedules dictate.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
