Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and maintain safe patient environments
- Administer medications under RN supervision following protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans
- Support emotional wellbeing through companionship and active listening
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent long-term care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Passionate geriatric care experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
