Responsibilities
- Design and implement real-time software frameworks for autonomous vehicle perception systems
- Develop machine learning models for object detection, path planning, and decision-making
- Integrate sensor fusion technologies (LiDAR, radar, cameras) into unified control systems
- Conduct simulation testing and validation of autonomous driving scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards
- Optimize algorithms for edge computing in constrained vehicle environments
- Document technical specifications and contribute to open-source autonomous driving projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in autonomous vehicle systems or robotics development
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and sensor fusion algorithms
- Strong understanding of real-time operating systems and embedded programming
- Experience with simulation tools (CARLA, Gazebo) and hardware-in-the-loop testing
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
