Responsibilities
- Lead R&D projects in quantum machine learning and neural architecture optimization
- Develop novel algorithms for autonomous decision-making systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize AI-quantum interfaces
- Publish research in top-tier AI journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive technical strategy
- Secure external funding through DARPA/NSF grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 5+ years' AI research
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Published work in NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR or equivalent venues
- Experience with quantum computing APIs (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in reinforcement learning and generative models
- Proven ability to translate research into production systems
