Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with emerging regulations and societal norms
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for AI systems using advanced statistical methodologies
- Develop policies for transparent AI deployment, including explainability protocols and human oversight requirements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical considerations into AI development lifecycles
- Lead stakeholder engagements with regulators, policymakers, and community groups on AI ethics
- Establish industry benchmarks for responsible AI through research and thought leadership
- Monitor global AI regulatory trends and adapt organizational strategies proactively
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics for machine learning systems
- Deep understanding of evolving AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Proven experience developing organizational ethics policies and compliance programs
- Strong technical aptitude to evaluate AI systems without requiring coding expertise
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics or responsible technology
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE, ACM, or equivalent preferred)
