Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks and governance policies
- Conduct regular audits of AI systems for bias, fairness, and compliance
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed ethical considerations in AI development lifecycles
- Monitor emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks) and adapt strategies
- Create transparency reports documenting AI decision-making processes
- Partner with legal teams to ensure adherence to evolving AI legislation
- Train stakeholders on responsible AI deployment and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, ethics, or responsible technology development
- Expertise in bias detection/mitigation techniques and fairness metrics
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (NIST, EU AI Act, OECD principles)
- Experience with model explainability tools (SHAP, LIME) and interpretability methods
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics (required)
