Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability in machine learning models while driving industry standards for ethical AI deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics policies aligned with emerging regulations and societal norms
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and mitigation strategies for high-impact AI systems
- Design governance frameworks for autonomous decision-making processes
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Lead stakeholder engagements to address ethical concerns and build consensus
- Monitor global AI regulatory landscapes and adapt organizational compliance strategies
- Produce thought leadership on responsible AI adoption and societal impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethical technology roles
- Expertise in bias detection techniques and fairness metrics for ML models
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging global regulations
- Experience with stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in Python and statistical analysis tools for algorithm auditing
- Published research or certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
