Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for enterprise-scale machine learning systems
- Conduct algorithmic impact assessments for high-stakes AI applications
- Develop bias mitigation protocols for generative AI and autonomous decision systems
- Establish audit trails for AI model training pipelines and deployment processes
- Create ethical guidelines for human-AI collaboration in industrial settings
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineers, legal, and social scientists
- Represent the company in regulatory dialogues on AI governance standards
- Develop transparency mechanisms for explainable AI (XAI) implementations
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Proven track record in implementing ethical AI frameworks in regulated industries
- Expertise in regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, state-level AI bills)
- Deep understanding of fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAT) principles
- Experience with bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Strong background in machine learning model governance and MLOps
- Published research in AI ethics or technology ethics preferred
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, AIGC) required
