Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST standards, and emerging global regulations
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems for bias mitigation, transparency, and accountability
- Establish governance protocols for generative AI, quantum computing, and autonomous systems
- Represent Nexus at international AI ethics summits and regulatory working groups
- Design stakeholder engagement strategies including public consultations and industry coalitions
- Mentor ethics task force and integrate ethical reviews into product development lifecycles
- Publish thought leadership on AI governance in peer-reviewed journals and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or Juris Doctor with specialization in AI regulation
- Minimum 8 years in AI governance, risk management, or policy development
- Expertise in implementing bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics
- Proven track record advising Fortune 500 companies on AI ethics frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum computing implications for AI ethics
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, CAIGI) or equivalent professional credentials
- Published research on algorithmic accountability or responsible AI deployment
- Experience working with international regulatory bodies (OECD, UNESCO, WEF)
