Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks aligned with global standards
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems for bias, transparency, and accountability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement ethical-by-design principles in product development
- Establish stakeholder engagement protocols for diverse community input on AI deployments
- Drive research on emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and autonomous systems
- Represent the organization in industry consortiums and regulatory dialogues on AI governance
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in AI ethics, policy development, or responsible tech governance
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and algorithmic fairness assessment
- Strong knowledge of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into actionable governance policies
- Experience with stakeholder management across technical, legal, and non-technical domains
- Certification in AI ethics or data governance (e.g., CIPM, CDPSE) preferred
