Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems and quantum algorithms
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging ethical challenges in 2026+ technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, policymakers, and ethicists to align on ethical priorities
- Author white papers and policy recommendations for regulatory bodies on AI accountability
- Design bias-mitigation protocols for generative AI models deployed in critical infrastructure
- Stakeholder engagement with global ethics councils and industry consortiums
- Monitor real-world AI deployment impacts through longitudinal studies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Ethics, Philosophy, Technology, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Expertise in quantum computing ethics, neural interface governance, or autonomous systems
- Published research on AI alignment or technology's societal impact (peer-reviewed journals)
- Proven track record influencing policy through technical advisory roles
- Proficiency in predictive modeling for ethical risk assessment
- Experience with international AI ethics frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to diverse audiences
