Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops (corn, soybeans, etc.) according to established schedules and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, tractors, and harvesting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform general farm maintenance, including weeding, tilling, and irrigation management.
- Inspect crops for signs of disease, pests, or damage and report findings to supervisors.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols, labor laws, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa or proof of eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
- Experience in agriculture, farming, or general labor is highly preferred.
- Basic English language skills for communication and safety instructions.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings during harvest season.
