Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers)
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain crop quality throughout growth cycles
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers according to EPA standards
- Assist with irrigation system management and field maintenance
- Adhere to all OSHA and agricultural safety protocols
- Document daily work activities and crop progress
Qualifications
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity)
- Valid H2A visa eligibility or willingness to sponsor
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Basic English communication skills for team coordination
- Valid driver's license for equipment operation
- Flexible schedule including weekends and early mornings
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
