Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Monitor crop health and apply integrated pest management techniques
- Maintain farm cleanliness and adhere to food safety protocols (HACCP)
- Assist with packing, sorting, and loading produce for distribution
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and farm operational procedures
- Participate in seasonal crop rotation and soil preparation activities
Qualifications
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship
- Minimum 1 year documented experience in commercial agriculture
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- No criminal history that would affect visa eligibility
