Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops according to seasonal schedules.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure produce is handled with care during sorting, packing, and loading processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Assist with general farm maintenance, including irrigation systems and fence repairs.
- Collaborate effectively with crew leaders and fellow workers to meet daily production goals.
- Work in various weather conditions and be available for flexible hours during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States under the H2A visa program.
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or farm labor is a plus but not strictly required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods in outdoor environments.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of safety procedures.
- Valid identification and willingness to undergo a background check.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite in Philadelphia, PA.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team.
