Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Safely operate tractors, harvesters, and other agricultural equipment to maximize crop yield.
- Crop Management: Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, pruning, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules.
- Maintenance & Care: Inspect fields for pests and diseases, and apply appropriate treatments to ensure crop health.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of farm machinery and tools to ensure operational efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, H2A labor laws, and company protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with crew leads and team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Work Authorization: Valid US work authorization or eligibility to obtain an H2A visa sponsorship.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy loads and standing for long durations.
- Experience: Prior experience in farming, agriculture, or agricultural labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- Driving Skills: Valid driver’s license and ability to operate farm vehicles safely.
- Weather Tolerance: Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
