Responsibilities
- Architect High-Performance 2D Rendering: Design and implement robust rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and CSS3 hardware acceleration.
- Master Interaction Design: Craft intuitive, responsive animations and gesture-based interactions that enhance user experience and accessibility.
- Optimize Rendering Cycles: Analyze and optimize rendering loops to ensure 60fps performance across all devices and browsers.
- Build Custom Libraries: Develop and maintain proprietary 2D interaction libraries and tools to standardize our engineering practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with UX/UI designers to translate complex design concepts into functional, performant code.
Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the DOM, CSS3 transitions, requestAnimationFrame, and event-driven architecture.
- Frontend Frameworks: Extensive experience with React, Vue, or Angular, with a focus on state management for complex UI states.
- Graphics Expertise: Strong working knowledge of the Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and basic WebGL shaders.
- Mathematical Foundation: Solid grasp of trigonometry, physics, and easing functions for realistic motion simulations.
- Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex rendering issues, optimize memory usage, and resolve cross-browser compatibility challenges.
