- Coordinate venue operations across 13 host cities during tournament phases
- Manage cross-functional teams (logistics, security, hospitality, and broadcast)
- Develop and execute contingency plans for weather, security, and operational disruptions
- Oversee fan experience initiatives including transportation and venue activations
- Ensure compliance with FIFA operational standards and sustainability requirements
- Lead post-tournament debrief and legacy program development
Qualifications
- 7+ years in event management with 3+ in major sports tournaments
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams of 50+ personnel
- FIFA World Cup or equivalent international event certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of venue operations, crowd control, and emergency protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under high-pressure conditions
- Fluency in English with Spanish proficiency highly desirable
- Valid US driver's license and willingness for 50% domestic travel
