Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze technology trends impacting 2026-2030 landscape across AI, biotech, and quantum domains
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies into core business operations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state technology adoption
- Author white papers and thought leadership on ethical tech implementation and societal impact
- Identify and build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Manage innovation incubator programs for 2026-relevant technologies
- Advose C-suite on technology investments and regulatory compliance for emerging tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership on tech's societal implications (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPC from APF)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within global tech research communities
