Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AGI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary research initiatives with MIT/Stanford partnerships
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Present findings to C-suite and congressional technology committees
- Manage $20M+ innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments
- Mentor PhD fellows in applied futurism methodologies
- Author white papers published in Nature Futures journal
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 8+ years R&D experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science) on emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neural-symbolic AI, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of commercializing lab-to-market innovations
- Security clearance eligibility for government collaborations
- Proficiency in futurist frameworks (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Public speaking experience at Davos or similar forums
