Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy roadmap post-2026
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic labs and global research institutions
- Author whitepapers on next-gen tech societal impact
- Overseed patent portfolio for 2026+ technology domains
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in tech strategy with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, synthetic biology
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
