Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields (quantum AI, bio-digital interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints prototyping next-gen solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on tech ethics and governance
- Partner with global governments on policy frameworks for autonomous systems
- Mentor PhD fellows through our FutureTech Fellowship program
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants for experimental initiatives
- Chair quarterly TechHorizon symposia with industry leaders
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years of applied research
- Published work on quantum machine learning or ethical AI frameworks
- Proven track record securing federal/state innovation grants
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on technology adoption curves
- Deep understanding of ISO/IEC 42071 AI governance standards
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ disruptive tech innovations
