Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, biotech, AI) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning company as future-tech authority
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and evaluate next-gen investment opportunities
- Design and oversee experimental R&D projects with 5-year commercialization horizons
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums shaping future regulations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with demonstrable impact on future-tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier publications
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum AI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption scenarios
- Strong network with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
