Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026 technology roadmaps in quantum computing and AI
- Develop patent-pending solutions for ethical AI frameworks and decentralized systems
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on next-gen research projects
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with quarterly ROI-driven reporting
- Mentor a team of 12 PhD researchers and engineers
- Drive commercialization of 3+ breakthrough technologies annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ breakthrough patents
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on AI ethics or quantum computing
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Proven track record of scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+
- Experience with DARPA or NASA technology programs preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global partnerships
- Portfolio of 5+ commercialized AI/quantum applications
