Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify commercial opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for future market disruptions and competitive landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future-state visions into actionable product roadmaps
- Present quarterly strategic briefings to C-suite and board members with data-driven forecasts
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications on technological singularity implications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of forecasting market disruptions (provide case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., PESTLE, SWOT future variants)
- Strong statistical modeling skills with proficiency in Python/R
- Exceptional communication abilities for translating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
