Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology forecasting for 2026+ horizon, identifying AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence points
- Develop cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines
- Partner with product teams to translate future visions into actionable development sprints
- Conduct horizon scanning through academic partnerships, patent analysis, and startup ecosystem engagement
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and board members with data-backed scenarios
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Expertise in technology lifecycle modeling and disruption pattern analysis
- Exceptional stakeholder management with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Strong understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation initiatives
