Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's 2026 technology roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption cycles
- Present future technology briefings to board members and executive stakeholders quarterly
- Manage a $15M innovation portfolio with ROI tracking for long-term projects
- Champion ethical AI and sustainable tech practices across all initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders incubator program
- Author industry thought leadership pieces on emerging tech trends
- Coordinate with venture capital arm to identify strategic investment targets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Proven track record of launching at least two future-facing technologies to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Published research or patents in AI, quantum computing, or biotechnology integration
- Experience building and managing multi-disciplinary innovation teams (50+ members)
- Deep network within global tech ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or equivalent futurist training
