- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology adoption across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with business objectives and market gaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints focused on 2026 technology use cases
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting future technology landscapes
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with proven track record of future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience developing and implementing technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or successful technology predictions
