Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and integrating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, spatial web)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and competitive threats
- Architect scalable frameworks for next-generation digital infrastructure
- Present strategic technology briefings to executive stakeholders and investors
- Foster an innovation culture through hackathons, R&D partnerships, and thought leadership
- Manage technology risk assessment and mitigation strategies for 2026 and beyond
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, and spatial technologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Credible thought leadership with published work or conference speaking experience
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $10M
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
