- Anticipate geopolitical and technological disruptions through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Secure $50M+ in innovation grants and venture capital for frontier technologies
- Report directly to the CEO on innovation pipeline progress and market disruption risks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or corporate development with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record launching products with 5+ year market impact cycles
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Experience securing $10M+ in government innovation grants or venture funding
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or MIT Tech Review
