- Direct cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Secure $5M+ in strategic partnerships and venture capital for moonshot projects
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for next-gen technologies
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor talent pipeline in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership within tech/biotech
- Proven track record launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Strategic Innovation
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or human-machine symbiosis
- Deep network of relationships in Silicon Valley and Austin ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ innovators
