Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Architect innovation roadmaps with measurable milestones for 2026 market leadership
- Conduct scenario planning for geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align emerging technologies with long-term vision
- Present future-state narratives to investors, partners, and industry forums
- Maintain a proprietary foresight database with predictive analytics
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or Strategic Innovation
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic plans
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario modeling, and predictive analytics
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
