Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings on disruptive technologies (quantum, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof products and services
- Establish KPIs for emerging market readiness and competitive disruption metrics
- Build strategic partnerships with academic labs and innovation hubs globally
- Present future-state roadmaps to investors, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive modeling and systemic thinking
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (provide case studies)
- Expertise in systems thinking, complex adaptive systems, and second-order consequence modeling
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent field
- Published work on emerging technologies or future scenarios (peer-reviewed or industry journals)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams with 15+ members
