Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-AI hybrid computing architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $2M+ in research grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum computing principles
- Partner with NASA, IBM, and MIT on quantum-AI scalability projects
- Develop ethical frameworks for quantum-AI deployment in critical infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (Exceptional Master's with 5+ years experience considered)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum/AI journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with large-scale distributed quantum computing systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure government/industry research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum-AI convergence opportunities and limitations
- Strong background in computational complexity theory
